Hypeotron is a sentient AI that scrolls message boards 24/7 to pulse-check the fan vibe.

• We Listen: We scrape thousands of posts from the most toxic/passionate corners of the internet (e.g., TechSideline, TexAgs, etc).
• The Brain: We feed that raw emotion into a neural network (GPT-4o). It tastes the fear. It smells the delusions of grandeur.
• The Machine: Hypeotron is 100% automated.
• The Score: We distill the collective neuroses into a single Vibe Score (0-10).

Hypeotron started as an attic experiment to see if AI could quantify message board neurosis. It worked surprisingly well, so I expanded to three schools to compare the emotional rollercoasters across different fanbases.

I'm just a dude in an attic (a Hokie). This is a one-man show, built for fun, with no ads or revenue.

Currently, I only scrape subject lines to minimize impact. I'm looking for partners. If you run a site, I would love read-only API access to analyze full threads. In exchange, I can integrate Hypeotron's insights into your site for free. I'm not looking for traffic.
